Sebastien De Sa Neves Da Rocha graduated from the European School of Osteopathy (ESO) in 2007 having started his studies in France at the College International d’Ostéopathie (CIDO).
He then completed the Diploma in Paediatric Osteopathy at the Osteopathic Centre for Children (OCC) in London, and has been teaching paediatry at the British College of Osteopathic Medecine.
Over the years, his clinical work has focused on helping babies, children, teenagers and maternity patients adapt to the stresses and strains of body changes and development.
He is working at both the Tufnell Parks Osteopaths practice and at the Active Birth Centre where patients receive holistic care, and support from both the combined approach of osteopathy, yoga, homeopathy, reflexology and acupuncture.
Sebastien taught paediatry in Osteopathy in South America at AESOPLAT in Lima, and at CBO in San Paulo in Brazil.
The London Centre for Paediatric Osteopathy was founded to offer postgraduate training to osteopaths who wish to develop their paediatric skills, to offer patients access to osteopathy, and to develop an osteopathic centre for excellence in the field of paediatry.
OUR A P P R O A C H
Health, Movement, Wellbeing
Our trained osteopaths have worked in both multidisciplinary clinics and hospitals. Their experiences demonstrate that it is key to integrate medical and osteopathic approaches. At the LCPO, we offer osteopathic services based on the integration of all parts of patients’ history. The practice is supervised by qualified and registered osteopaths in the field of paediatry, medical practitioner (paediatrician) and other alternative therapists, including an ‘active birth’ yoga therapist and an osteopath specialised in pelvic care.
Our common goal is to make Osteopathy accessible to all babies, children and teenagers, and encourage preventive osteopathy appointments as an integral part of health check ups.
